What is E-Liquid?

E-liquid, also known as e-juice, vape juice, vape oil, and more, is the liquid that you vapourise when you hit your vape. Whether you're using a disposable device or a box mod with an RDA, you will always use e-liquid with your vape.

There are a few different types of e-liquid available on The Vaping Lodge online vape store. Each is best suited to a different type of vape, and it's important that you pick the right liquid to avoid leaks or burnt coils. Which E-Liquid Should You Use?

There are two key variables when looking at e-liquid; nicotine type and VG/PG balance. We've kept this simple on our store, seperating our e-liquids into short-fills and nic salts.

What are Short-Fill E-Liquids?

Short-fill e-liquids are nicotine-free and come in large bottles (50ml and 100ml). Extra space is added to each bottle to make room for nicotine shots, bypassing laws which prevent nicotine e-liquids from being sold in bottles larger than 10ml.

All of the short-fill e-liquids on The Vaping Lodge online vape shop are 70% VG/30% PG, making them ideal for use in sub-ohm tanks and pod systems. Small pod systems, like the Vaporesso XROS 3 or Aspire Cyber S will struggle with e-liquids this thick.

Most short-fill e-liquids come with freebase nicotine shots, though you can find nicotine salt shots if you prefer a smoother hit.

What are Nicotine Salt E-Liquids?

Nicotine salt e-liquids use nic salts rather than freebase nicotine. E-liquids like this are typically 50% VG/50% PG, making them ideal for low-powered pod systems. Thanks to the pre-mixed nicotine in nic salt e-liquids, they always come in 10ml bottles.
